We are what we eat. This saying applies not only to us as human beings but also to our pigs, which rely on a healthy diet. In collaboration with specialists from the University of Ghent, we developed a feed formulation for our pigs based on in-depth research. Our approach focuses on three pillars:
Olive oil enhances the flavor of the meat and increases its tenderness. Through our pig feed program, fat develops at the optimal stage of animal growth.
Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids. Our pigs absorb this oil through their feed, resulting in a similar fatty acid profile in their body fat, which can help reduce the risk of heart disease in humans.
Our pig feed is based on scientific research, using a consistent blend of pure raw grains, fibers, and proteins. This fixed formulation ensures the consistent quality of our uniquely tender pork.
