We have a passion, cheese
In 1996 we opened our cheese factory. We have always maintained one idea, since then, to create different and wonderful products that will provoke in those who try them the same enthusiasm for cheese that we have.

We have experimented, we have learned, we have tried... we continue to do so today, and only in this way have each of our cheeses emerged, all of them with their marked distinctive features, with their own personality, all of them different, never better or worse, but yes different from the rest of the cheeses of its style.

Our livestock, everything begins here
There is nothing more valuable to us than our sheep. They are the heart of our cheese production, the basis of our success. Every day we wake up with the sun to take care of them, to make sure they have enough food and water, to pamper them and to give them all the love they deserve.

We make sure that they graze freely in the fields, where they can enjoy nature and the freshness of the air. And in every litre of milk we milk, we can feel their presence, their effort, their dedication. Because our sheep are much more than just farm animals. They are part of our livelihood, our passion. And thanks to them, each bite of our cheese has a unique flavour, an unmatched texture, and an aroma that evokes the landscapes of our land. So today, we want to pay tribute to all the sheep that have been and are part of our history. Thank them for their generosity, their nobility, their beauty.

And we promise to continue taking care of them with all our love and respect so that they continue to be the queens of our field and our hearts. You already know that at Cañarjeal we have a passion: cheese.

All of this makes us happy, above all, because of the recognition it represents for the work, not always easy, of every day.
